Southwest of Portland, northeast of Salem, 50 miles from the coast, and secluded in the
Willamette Valley exists an agricultural community devoted to developing world class Pinot wines.

McMinnville Oregon is a well kept secret. Few outside the area know of this bucolic wonder.

I discovered it through friends who had relatives who lived there.

They told me of the uncluttered beauty, rolling hills of greens that defy belief and sunset clouds
that exist at the edge of light.

With such an introduction a visit proved the description to be true and that was enough.

When people ask me why I moved to McMinnville, I answer, "because its McMinnville."
